This course will focus on clinical lung function testing, guidelines from new technical standards and interactive small group experiences with the performance, interpretation, and reporting of pulmonary function testing and cardiopulmonary exercise testing. This course will combine didactic lectures with case-based instruction, small group discussion, and live demonstration of spirometry and DLCO. We will offer participants the opportunity to submit their own cases for review. We will use a multidisciplinary team approach to facilitate case discussions including content experts, Physicians, respiratory therapists, and pulmonary function laboratory medical directors from around the world and will address the complexity of running a pulmonary function lab during the COVID-19 pandemic.
