Program Description

Using Flashcards aids learning and retention in a way that textbooks and lectures alone can’t duplicate.

The ATS Critical Care Board Review Flashcard activity is a set of 150 online, electronic flashcard questions, written in the same style as the Critical Care Boards exam, and organized in question groups based on the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Critical Care Medicine Certification exam blueprint.

  • After answering each flashcard question, you’ll see detailed research-based rationales for both correct and incorrect answers.
  • Each time you cycle through a set of flashcards, the program will track your responses and will continue to ask you the questions you answered incorrectly, until you answer them correctly.
  • The questions are organized in the similar medical content categories as the Board exam. Intuitive dashboards allow you to track your results by category, to help you identify where further study may be required before taking the exam.
  • Complete the flashcards at your own pace and when your schedule allows.
  • Take advantage of short amounts of available time during the day to review a few questions. The program automatically bookmarks where you left off, so you can stop and start as your schedule allows. You can re-take the flashcards as many times as you’d like over a one year period.

Note: You do not receive CME credit for this activity.
